Davood is a very experienced dental surgeon, and graduated with a BDS from Aarhus University, Denmark.
Davood is fully qualified in advanced modern dentistry, and is dedicated to enhancing his skills and knowledge with postgraduate education and courses. His special interests include cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, cosmetic braces, veneers, and dentures. He is also experienced in using the in-house Cerec machine to create same-day crowns for his patients.
Davood can offer all aspects of mouth reconstruction with smile design, helping his patients improve the appearance and function of their smiles. He also provides cosmetic braces for discreet treatment with fast results.
Shivani qualified from the University of Manchester in 2011. After qualifying, she worked in hospitals, providing emergency treatment and carrying out maxillofacial training. She then went on to complete her MFDS qualification with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Since then, Shivani has worked in general dental practice.
Shivani joined the Bright Dental team in 2021. She enjoys getting to know her patients, and her calm, caring and ethical approach to dentistry helps to put them at ease in her care.
Shivani achieved her postgraduate diploma in Operative Dentistry with a distinction at King’s College London. She loves being able to work with patients to restore their confidence and their smiles, with life-changing and enhancing outcomes.
Along with improving the cosmetic aspect of her patients’ teeth, Shivani also likes to focus on preventative dentistry and minimally invasive treatments.
She enjoys providing general dentistry, Invisalign treatment, composite bonding, veneers, teeth whitening, and many other aspects of dentistry and facial aesthetics.
Haseeb graduated from Cardiff University in 2014 and hasn’t stopped honing his dental skills since.
Haseeb enjoys all aspects of dentistry but his true passion lies in conquering root canals! He completed a Master’s degree in Endodontics at Barts and The London School of Dentistry, and now focuses his practice on root canal treatment.
Haseeb is known for his calming and reassuring chairside manner, and takes pride in ensuring his patients’ smiles stay happy and healthy through his care. He is always on hand to answer any questions or ease your worries before treatment.
When he’s not negotiating root canals, Haseeb enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter. He’s also an adventurer at heart, always up for exploring new places and indulging in delicious cuisine. You also might catch him cheering on Manchester United, win or lose!
Akeel gained his BDS degree from the University of Jordan in 2002. He then worked in different hospitals in the UK, focusing on oral and maxillofacial surgery. In 2004, Akeel obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, followed by the Fellowship in Oral Surgery and Medicine from the same college in 2007.
Akeel has a special interest in oral surgery and dental implants. In 2014, he achieved the board certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the medical council of Jordan. He then received a diploma in implant dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016.
With a keen interest in academic work, Akeel is the author of various surgical books, and has had many publications in very reputable surgical journals.
Akeel works as a specialty doctor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He runs the oral surgical lists, under both local and general anaesthetic, and is also in charge of training student dentists at the same hospital.
Akeel is married and has four children. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening and likes to spend time with his family.
Julie qualified as a dental hygienist at Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1980, winning the Professor Emisle Prize for Scaling.
She has been at Bright Dental Care for over 30 years, giving consistent continuing care to her patients. She takes a preventive approach to oral health, and aims for prevention rather than cure. Julie also provides topical fluoride and fissure sealant treatments for children, helping to give them the best start for long-term excellent oral health.
Dianne has been the welcoming face of our practice for over 35 years. Her calm and capable manner offers reassurance to even the most nervous of patients, and she loves helping and talking to everyone. Many patients have come to know Dianne personally over the years, and greet her on first-name terms.
Dianne’s warm approach inspires patient confidence and ensures a consistently smooth and professional experience for all.
Gretchen joined the team at Bright Dental Care in early 2019. She works as a dental nurse with all clinicians within the practice.
Gretchen is very experienced in all areas of general and specialised dentistry. She is warm and friendly, and always strives to offer her best care.
She completed the advanced nursing qualification in implant dentistry at King’s College London, and has an excellent breadth of knowledge in this area. Gretchen has also achieved additional qualifications in taking dental x-rays in order to assist fully with patient care.
