When you arrive for your first visit at Bright Dental Care, we greet you warmly and help you to feel comfortable and relaxed in our practice. We may ask you to fill in some new patient forms to help us find out a bit more about your dental history if you haven’t already done so.
Your dentist invites you into the surgery and asks you to take a seat in the comfortable dental chair. Your initial appointment is slightly longer than your check-ups going forward, as we spend time getting to know you and your oral health. We ask if there is anything you are worried about before examining all areas of your mouth. Your check-up also includes two intraoral x-rays to help us get a more detailed picture of your oral health.
When the examination is complete, we discuss it with you, letting you know everything we have found out and if there are any areas that need further attention. We give you some brushing advice or diet tips if applicable, to help you keep your teeth and gums healthy and strong at home.
If you need any additional treatment to get your oral health in the best condition, we create your personalised treatment plan.
